Railway Concession Agreement was signed on 12 June 2009 between The Royal Government of Cambodia (MPWT & MEF) and TOLL (Cambodia) Co., Ltd.
The Royal Railway of Cambodia (RRC) is transfered to The Department of Railway:
.: Sub-Decree No. 163 for establishment of the Department of Railway was signed on 01 October 2009.
.: Sub-Decree No. 164 for elimination of the Royal Railway of Cambodia was signed on 01 October 2009.

Key Features of Concession Agreement: |
- Concession Period: 30 Years from the Effective Date.
- Execution Date (Signing Date): Friday, 12 June 2009.
- Effective Date: After the date of satisfaction of the Conditions Precedent agreed by both parties but no earlier than the ADB Management Approval Date on the Supplementary Financing.
- Conceded Assets are the Railway Reserve and the Infrastructure and the Equipment listed in Appendix 1, together with any additional Equipment identifed in accordance with Article 9.3 and all and any part of rehabilitated or reconstructed railway infrastructure.
+ From Execution Date there shall be no sale, disposal, transformation, removal, damage or any Material Adverse Effects to any Conceded Assets.
